Summer morning after rain

While the inside of the house is messy and disorganized, at least I find beauty outside!

When winter comes it will be so nice to see what USED to be out there!











This almost looks like real Scottish heather! And it blooms all summer!

Our friend Grant Gardner said he brought his lantana (only he didn't know it was lantana) in for the winter. He thought it was dead in the spring, but he took it outside and watered it and it rained, and it came back. Hmm, that's tempting!

We call this corner of our yard, "Joel's Corner". Last summer he dug all around the edges for me and laid out some new hosta. It is really lovely now!
