Weather like we are getting here at this time of year is payment
for what we endure all winter. Last evening I took these photos that hardly do our calm, golden, cool early summer evenings justice.
It's just wonderful to live in the Midwest at
this time of year! And the corn is sooo beautiful!

sorry i didn't catch you at harvest this morning - when i swore up and down i'd be in the service, i forgot today was my nursery day. and andrew, being the misanthrope his is, sat in the balcony. :) so you probably didn't see him either. but we were there! and the music sounded good over the speaker in the nursery!
